On June 12th, Potato Market will participate in a new event: the LFDay which is the first French event dedicated to AgTech organized by the Ferme Digitale at the Palais des congrès de la Cité des sciences et de l’industrie in Paris.

What is AgTech? It is a transformation of the agricultural sector, based on research and innovation in order to adapt the historical agricultural model to today’s technology: Internet use, connected objects and automation for example. These major innovations generally come from start-ups formed by young graduates from the agricultural sector.

This is why more than 100 French and international start-ups will participate in LfDay around thematic conferences, presentation of their projects and networking. During the event, the entire Agriculture and Agri-Food ecosystem meets to discuss the issues and innovations that will make the agriculture of tomorrow.

The Ferme Digitale (Digital Farm), which is at the origin of this event, is an association founded by 5 start-ups, whose objective is to promote innovation and digital for a sustainable and efficient agriculture. It already has 24 members and many partners. The association wants to bring consumers and farmers closer together through digital technologies and show how new technologies enable farmers to be more productive, more competitive and closer to consumer concerns.
